The theme for July’s Top Five Tuesday’s (hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Bookworm) are essentially an alphabetised list of books which is so exciting?? I’m so keen to read everyone’s posts as I’m sure it will feature such a huge variety due to the sheer number of books there are to pick from?!
However… I figured I’d do it slightly differently and for this post – I’m doing TBR books 😉
A book beginning with the letter A:
Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour

I’m currently on a re-read of Since You’ve Been Gone and have also read The Unexpected Everything from this author (Morgan Matson) and both books are INCREDIBLE.
I couldn’t recommend them enough and can’t believe I forgot to put them on my recent favourites post because both are just amazing??
So though I do have high expectations, I’m pretty sure I will also love Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour, another of Matson’s books.
It also has a roadtrip and I don’t think I’ve ever read a book featuring a roadtrip and so I am excited to get to this!

A book beginning with the letter B:
(The) Boy Who Steals Houses

Cait (or C.G. Drews) @ Paper Fury has been one of my favourite bloggers for so long now and so it’s only natural I want to support her author journey and read her books!
Both A Thousand Perfect Notes (the debut) and The Boy Who Steals Houses are on my TBR and both have such incredible reviews – BUT the reviews say that they are very emotional reads – I don’t know if I’m ready for the tears?!

A book beginning with the letter C:
Coraline

When I was younger, Coraline was a film I loved but also hated – if you watched it as a child maybe you get me?? I loved the film but I also found it really weird and scary… so I hated it too? But ever since I saw it on a recommended reading list I remembered that YES it’s actually a book too?!
And ever since, it’s been on my tbr list and I can’t wait to read it!
I actually saw it listed on my local eBook library so am hoping I can get to it soon!

A book beginning with the letter D:
Dear Martin

This is a 2017 release which proves just how much of a backlist I have – hopefully with GCSE exams finished I can finally get back to reading (I have read a whole book and a half since they finished so let’s hope so!) and this is one of the books I am excited to read.
It has had such good reviews and has a similar premise to THUG which I adored! So even though I know the books are completely different and can’t really be
compared – I’m hoping I love this just as
much too!

A book beginning with the letter E:
Eliza and Her Monsters

Another backlist book – what a surprise?!
This was released in 2017 and I remember reading all the reviews and seeing it featured in every other blog post tag/list there was. And I also remember adding it to my tbr and telling everyone how ‘I’m so excited to read it?!’.
And now here we are.
Have I read it? No.
Is it on my TBR still? Yes.
Are there too many books. Yes.
Hotel? Trivago.
(I hope you understand that haha or I just look weird). I love the cover of this book and I love the blurb and I just want to read it??

And that’s all the books!
