I’m fully aware that I’ve said sorry for not posting but I’m back now a semi-ridiculous number of times.
But this time!! I am back. For good.
The blog has been redesigned (look at my cute new home page!!) and I’m ready to get posting again. Unlike before however there will be no pressure, and I’ll be posting whenever I feel like it, with whatever content I feel like posting (even though it probably seems like that was what I was already doing haha).
We’ll still be literary of course, but maybe with a touch of lifestyle in the mix too?? And book posts will be a little bit of everything!

So what’s been going on with my life since I disappeared took a little break from the blog?

The obvious: I don’t want to dwell on it but corona was evidently going to be addressed. So. We’re pretty much in lockdown in the UK, school’s are online (not loving it but not hating it??) and summer plans have been cancelled. But my family is safe and well so I’m trying to focus on the positives <3. Hope you’re all well and okay and if you’re not? It’s okay not to be!! Banana bread and Zoom quizzes and learning a new language does not!! need!! to!! be!! the way you cope with it all. If it’s staying in bed all day then that’s okay. It’s a pandemic??

Reading!! One of the key reasons for me disappearing from the blog for a while was due to me hardly reading anything. But that’s changed because I’ve been reading so much lately and I’ve missed it! ❤ I’ll have a post with the books I’ve been reading up soon but I’VE FINALLY READ THE SIX OF CROWS DUOLOGY. You all shouted at me asked me nicely to read it in this post and it took me a long time. But you were all!! right!!
Also how cool is the new star rating feature?? So much has changed with WordPress and I’m obsessed.
And I won’t lie that’s pretty much it :)) For obvious reasons my life has been pretty quiet lately? It’s been good though, all things considered.
But anyway, I’m so excited to continue posting on here and I’m so glad I’ve finally found my blogging mojo again! It was actually this post by Faith @ Pages Left Unread which I loved, and made me so eager to go back to writing my own posts! :).
Thanks for reading guys! And I can’t wait to share more posts with you all pretty soon!

*Fun fact I wrote this whole post listening to my Taylor Swift playlist and I forgot how much I love her <3.

I love your new blog design!! It looks amazing 💖 And I’m glad you’re doing well during these terrible times, and I love what you said about not needing to be ‘productive’ during quarantine because on social media you see people like learning 567890 languages and doing all this inspiring stuff and I’m just like . . . how. I’m so happy you liked Six of Crows! It’s such a great book. But also I had no idea about the star rating feature?? And omg thank you so much for mentioning my post!!! 😭😭😭😭 I feel so validated fgjkfghjkfghjk. I can’t wait to be reading your future posts and I’m so glad you’re back! 💞🥰

Thanks so much!! I’m so excited to be back and to share the posts I’ve been working on!
Oh 100%, as much as I love social media it can be so negative when that guilt for not being productive sets in. Seeing everyone else learning languages and picking up hobbies makes it so much worse!
Yeah neither?? WordPress has so many new features so I’m excited to play around with design again!!
& No worries – I loved reading it!💞

Emme, your new blog design is so good!! Your aesthetic is on another level 😍 I’m so glad to see you back, and I hope you’re staying safe & happy during this pandemic too <33 Ah, I love that you said that banana bread and learning a new language does not need to be the way one spends their time in social distancing, because I've been feeling really guilty about that lately :(( Like, I have so much time in the day, but I feel like I'm getting *nothing* done, and it sucks, haha
