Watch me getting ready to open up this post with the most cliché and common phrase used in the blogosphere – my tbr is getting too big.
There are hundreds of books on my tbr at this point. I’m nowhere near updating my Goodreads shelf – in fact I’m not even a quarter of the way through – and that number is increasing each and every day.
So let’s scream about it even more?? And say ‘I can’t believe I still need to get to this one!’ a few more times. Because I definitely have not said it enough.
It’s time for the I Should Read That book tag! Thanks so much to Olivia @ Purely Olivia and Audrey @ Make Your (Book)Mark for tagging me to do this!! You should definitely go and check out their blogs after reading this ;).

The Rules:
- Thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post.
- Link to the creator’s blog in your post
- Answer the questions below
- Tag 10 others to take part in the tag
- Enjoy the tag!

A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read.

My friend Mollie (who doesn’t have a blog) is constantly shouting at asking me to read Six of Crows which is her all-time favourite book and one I STILL have yet to get to. Despite everyone in the blogosphere also screaming at me to read it?!
A book that’s been on your tbr forever and yet you still haven’t read it.

Honestly, there are so so many books I could choose here but one that’s been on my tbr since I joined the blogosphere is Warcross!! It sounds so good and yet… still haven’t read it? Still??
A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten around to finishing.

This is the easiest choice and that’s the Caraval series. I NEED TO FINISH THIS SERIES. I absolutely adored Caraval and yet Legendary?? Finale?? We don’t know them.
Rumour has it books 2 and 3 are even better than book 1 too. But I wouldn’t know. BECAUSE I HAVEN’T READ THEM.
A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but have never read.

I wasn’t in the mood for classics up until I suddenly was?? I really want to get to Pride & Prejudice as soon as I can because I really like the enemies-to-lovers trope and this is just the ultimate and original for that trope?! It’s also been so highly praised (obviously) but has really stood the test of time. Some classics can be hit or miss but I haven’t seen anyone disliking this one!
*This post was actually scheduled and since writing I’ve started this one!! Guess the guilt from the tag really motivated me?!
A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read.

Red, White and Royal Blue. Need I say more.
A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but just haven’t picked up yet.
I don’t think I’ve loved any tv/film adaptations recently?? Or at least not ones where I haven’t read the book. I would have said Coraline but I got to that one in August and the book was just as good as childhood me thought the film was?!
My all-time fave film adaptation though is To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. So accurate. And so incredible. And Noah Centineo. And Lana Condor. And I can’t wait for film 2. And 3.
A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet.
I have to admit… I haven’t gotten round to following many bookstagrams/other bookish social media so send me the names of people I need to follow!!

And those are the questions! I hope you enjoyed this tag and feel free to scream at me some more about what other books I still need to get to!!
I’m going to tag: Emma/Bruno @ A Few Chapters ‘Til Love, Malka/Chana @ Paper Procrastinators & Caitlin @ Caitlin Althea
Sorry if you’ve already done this tag, I wasn’t sure who to tag haha, so if you want to do it feel free and say I tagged you! :).

I feel like everyone read Red White and Royal Blue this year. Great post!

Haha this post is a big mood. I’m always having an existential crisis about my TBR :”)
EMME COME ON YOU HAVE TO READ SIX OF CROWS. it’s one of my absolute all time favorite books, and I know that a lot of people view it the same way, but it’s amazing okay! I actually read it without having read the Grisha trilogy, and I still loved it!
Ohh, I own a copy of Warcross, and it’s been sitting on my shelf for forever. I’ve heard mixed things, but hopefully be both enjoy it. I actually tried to read P&P as a youngin, and it did NOT go well. I should really try again, but I really suck at reading classics. I have to read about the origin of my favorite trope ever though ajajshhs
Thanks for tagging me & sorry for the long comment haha💚

Literally, bookworms all have the same problems wow🤧
I’m being screamed at to read it in these comments oh my gosh but I did buy the book!! That’s progress right?!
Yeah same, I’ve heard some not so great things about it recently which is a shame but hopefully I can still get to it and enjoy it! The concept sounds great.
I just started P&P which means it’ll probably be the only book I read this month cause it’s so! long! but I am enjoying it. I am not really getting much of the enemies vibes from it so far though, or maybe YA just makes it more dramatic haha.
You’re welcome! & don’t worry I love comments! 🙂

my tbr is getting too big!! This is a mood, I think I say it every day to myself tbh!!
I don’t want to add to the screaming but you should definitely pick up Six of Crows, I loved it so much!! The character dynamics were perfection!! (to me) I hope you get to pick it up soon and then you can join the screaming!!
I have yet to start Caraval– it is one of those books which have just passed me by and I have never picked it up but I heard good things and it sounds so magical!! I hope you love the next books just as much if not more than Caraval.
I loved the ‘to all the boys I’ve loved before’ movie and can’t wait for the next films!! Lana is amazing!!
Great post and best of luck with conquering your TBR!! ❤

Aww, I’m so happy you did this tag!! I love so much love for a lot of books on this list.😭💓I love how on RW&RB you didn’t even have to put a description because I think we all know that it is seriously one of THE most hyped books…ever, lol. Not to be that person, but *whispers* it’s worth the hype. I also really enjoyed Six of Crows and I’m not even a fantasy person. I hope you enjoy all the books and have the happiest of reading!! Also, what are your thoughts on Pride & Prejudice so far?
