So I saw this tag over at Swetlana’s blog – The Caffeinated Bookworm Life and thought it seemed like a really fun tag to do!
As much as I love reading about people’s favourite books and sharing all things bibliophile, at the same time, I love to read about the person behind the blog. & so considering I’m still a fairly new blogger (started in June 2019), I thought this tag would be perfect for you guys to get to know me a little bit better 🙂

What is your favourite song right now?

I absolutely love musical theatre so 99% of the time, my favourite song is a number from a cast recording.
As for current favourites though I wouldn’t say I have one. Some of my top picks though include:
• Only Us // Dear Evan Hansen
• Not For The Life of Me // Thoroughly Modern Millie
• The World Was Wide Enough // Hamilton (forever a fave)
• Legally Blonde // from um… Legally Blonde

What could you do for hours that isn’t reading?

Especially when I first bought the game a couple weeks ago I was ADDICTED.
Literally.
I downloaded it on a whim to my laptop and I just love it?? It’s so relaxing & obviously being a bookworm, I love creating my characters and telling stories with them.
I also bought City Living just so I could have apartments and I’m very happy with that decision.

What is something that you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?

I don’t think this is necessarily surprising because I’ve mentioned it before but I don’t think many will remember so dance & musical theatre is my passion. Love. It.
As for something that I haven’t mentioned before, I LOVE reading the Refinery29 money diaries.
They’re just so interesting and as someone who is interested in a career in finance, reading about all the money stuff but in a ‘real-life’ context is just so fascinating. Highly recommend.

What is your favourite necessarily specific thing to learn about?
I don’t really have anything super specific that I like to learn about to be honest.
I find politics really interesting and I also quite like reading about technology within education. I guess that’s specific actually haha.
。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆
Tell us something that you think about often.
I really love to look into universities and research university life, even though I’m not going for another two years. But to be fair, that is actually fairly soon.
I’m just really excited to go into a whole new stage of education. Because although I complain about it, I actually am very academic and to an extent I enjoy learning/school?? Now that it’s A-Levels I’m also only doing subjects I’m interested in too which is good (byeeee to science & english lit).

Give us something that is your favourite.

My favourite tv show is How I Met Your Mother, although Friends is a very close second.
As for what else I’m watching:
• Brooklyn Nine-Nine // Love it so far, it’s hilarious.
• Stranger Things season 3 // Really good so far – Max is my new favourite character + also Dustin.
• Glee // I haven’t started this one yet but I kind of want to get into it?? Even though it’s kind of cheesy. But soon.
Tell us the first thing that pops into your head.
Fans.
The weather in the UK is INSANE. It could reach up to 38°C in London which for the UK is crazy.
We are not built for this weather people.
We do not have air con.
My fan is my new best friend. I am currently sat in front of it.
And there we go!
I didn’t do all of this tag because I didn’t have anything to say for some. Like a recent thing you made – I’m not a crafty person. Unless you count my GCSE art (#regret, glad that one’s over).

What are your favourite tv shows? Do you play the Sims? What could you do for hours?
Let’s talk in the comments! x

We definitely have a lot in common! I love musical theatre, I have a major Sims obsession and I’m a big fan of cheesy shows like Glee and HIMYM (HIMYM is a bit cheesy too, right?) 😄😄😄

Ahh cool!
How I Met Your Mother is definitely cheesy – I think all sitcoms are haha but that’s what makes them so good?!
Thanks for reading and commenting Rebecca! 🙂

Ah… I loved getting to know you more!!
The Hamilton soundtrack is really good– I started listening to it earlier this year and I like to listen to it in order and I was so surprised by the feels I got at the end!! My favourite song might be Helpless but I like so many!!
Technology within education is a very specific thing to like to learn but it’s pretty cool!! I don’t know anything about it!!
I agree I like learning but not always school but still some classes can be so interesting. And A-Levels meant it was so nice to get rid of some subjects your didn’t like!! 😂
I love How I Met Your Mother– Marshall is my favourite!! And friends is one I love too and Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Stranger Things. Ok I watch too much TV but I love them all!! 😂 I love Santa Clarita Diet as well– it just got cancelled and I am so sad, but I love it so much!!
The weather is the UK is so hot! I am suffering here!! 😂
Great tag!! ❤

Ahh yay! Glad you enjoyed the tag Sophie!💛
Hamilton is my faveeee it’s amazing! I love listening to it in order – the good thing with Hamilton is it’s all in song so you can understand the story just from listening, not just if you’ve seen the show.
Yeah I know haha, I didn’t realise I was interested in it until I wrote it, but I’ve read a few articles on it and it’s really interesting to learn about.
Yeah definitely, I love learning about things I find interesting, not so much those subjects like physics which I hated haha. What A-levels did you take?
Yess I love it! My favourite is probably Lily, but I love them all – definitely need to do a rewatch in order soon. I haven’t watched Santa Clarita Diet but have heard so many good things about it!
I knowww the weather is so hot!! Have been living next to my fan & only going to places with air con haha x

Yes that’s what I enjoy about listening to the soundtrack as you do get the story!! I would love to see the show as well though!!
That’s so cool!
Yes some subjects just aren’t for you!! My A-Levels were Geography, Maths and Sociology!! What were yours??
Yes Lily is great but I agree I love them all too!! Yes a re-watch sounds great! I love it!!
Haha yes– I been keeping up my windows open– I don’t have a fan *sad face*

My favorite song- don’t think I can pick. It will be a musical theatre song- too hard to choose.
About weather- NC weather is a bit odd. It can’t seem to know what season it is in at times.
What could I do for hours not reading- listen to music

I know, it’s so hard to pick just one haha, there are too many good ones.
Yeah, the weather is so weird at the moment. Definitely feeling the impacts of climate change 😦

Hahaha RIIIIIGHT!!! You should watch Kelsey play the 100 Baby Challenge on Sims4 (it’s on the Buzzfeed YT channel) – it’s HILARIOUS & is guaranteed to make you want to play Sims ALL THE TIME (so maybe you *shouldn’t* watch it? 😂)

I am totally addicted to the Sims 4, and had to move it to my PC from my laptop so I wasn’t distracted in class. Whoops! Is it bad that I am already planning my End of School life? I love this tag, and your answers are amazing!

No I’m the same! I have plans for everything literally & thinking about the future is so motivating too, I find!
Thanks so much for reading Emma!💛

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER AND BROOKLYN 99! Those comedy shows are just GOLD & they make me laugh so much. I especially think that the way HIMYM is plotted is such genius. And I would die for each of the characters in B99💚

Yess I love them both so much! I can’t believe I didn’t start B99 earlier??💛

Ahh this is such a fun tag, I love learning more about bloggers, yay! ❤ ❤
I'm so happy you love FRIENDS, it is my favorite tv show of ALL times. ❤ I really liked how I met your mother, up until that last episode that ruined everything for me aha, I'm forever mad about it 😭
Right here with you on the weather, I'm not in UK but it has been REALLY hot here in France too and it's exhausting. My fan is my best friend as well hahaha.

Thanks Marie – glad you liked the tag!💛
Yess Friends is incredible, definitely popular for a reason! & SAME THAT ENDING SUCKED WHAT WAS THAT. I’ll forever be mad about it – have you seen the alternative endings?
Yes I’ve seen the weather forecasts in France – so much hotter than the UK was! Thankfully it’s so much cooler now!

I have seen them and… well I liked them better a little bit. I was just so damn frustrated by the ending they picked out! 😦

all the musicals soundtracks!!!!!#@* i have to admit, i’m just now really getting into musicals, but i love soundtracks so much and my playlists are typically filled with them. the dear evan hansen is my current favorite.
as for the sims 4, one thing i could for hours is watching speed builds on youtube. i don’t even play the game, but i find the builds so fascinating. it’s kinda hilarious because i am really excited every time a new pack is released, like the most recent island living pack, but i don’t actually play the game at all; i’m just excited because i know that the quality of the videos i watch is going to improve in 200% and i’m here for it, lol. i tried downloading the game recently, but i don’t have enough space on my computer to do so, so i guess i’ll have to stay with nothing but the speed builds, lol.
i also relate a lot to obsess over university life. i started doing a ton of research when i was only a freshman in high school and it’s a topic that still intrigues me, even though i’m already a college student, but i like to research on universities abroad and how they work, since the brazilian system is quite unique. i can spend hours doing research on this topic, honestly! i even memorized all the universities who are part of the ivy league and i’m not even american, lol.
wishing you luck to survive the weather. 38ºC is INSANE even for someone like me who’s used to hot weather.
great tag!

yesss musicals are the best! dear even hansen is one of my favourites and i’m so excited to see the show when it comes to the westend!
speed builds are so satisfying to watch honestly – it’s amazing how people can make these builds?? i could never create such intricate designs!
yeah universities are so interesting to read about, especially in different countries because each system is so different!
thanks so much haha! the weather here was crazy but thankfully it’s cooled down now! us brits really aren’t used to that heat!
thanks for reading & commenting Lais!💛
