THE THIRD ANNUAL BOOK BLOGGER AWARDS | my nominations

Welcome back to A Literary Latte!
So you may have (probably not) noticed that I haven’t posted for a good week or so, and that’s because I recently went away (do you want to see a travel post with all the details??) and me being me, completely forgot to schedule posts!
But I had a fab time, I’m back and ready to get posting again!

Today we’re kicking things off with my nominations for the 3rd Annual Book Blogger Awards 2019, which May @ Forever and Everly recently restarted (used to be run by Joyce @ Write Through the Night – now a Youtuber!).

So as this may be a long post full of incredible bloggers that you should definitely check out – let’s get started!

Best pre-teen/teen book blogger (13-19)

My nomination for this definitely has to go to Isla @ A Whisper of Ink. I particularly like her incredible discussions which are so well-written and thought provoking. & her blogging voice I absolutely love!! It’s so distinct and I love how much her personality is shown!

Best adult book blogger (20+)

For this I’m going to go with Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books who is one of my all-time favourites. She’s so friendly and active in the community & I absolutely love her blog. Her blog is full of such variety which means there is literally something for everyone, from reviews, to tags, to really insightful discussions.

Best book reviews

I have a confession, and that’s that I rarely read book reviews. Oops. I only tend to if it’s a book I want to read, but I’m trying to read more!!
However, with Cait’s blogging voice and humour and stunning blog aesthetic I’ll read every review, even if it’s for a book way out of my usual genre/comfort zone/one I’m not interested in. & She’ll actually make me want to read it??
So this award for me, definitely has to go to Cait @ Paper Fury!

Best blog aesthetic

This 100% has to go to Tiffany @ Read by Tiffany. Her whole blog design is just so cute and pretty. It’s just STUNNING and makes every single post such a joy to read (along with her content of course).

Best blogging/writing voice

I could have nominated May for so many categories but my favourite thing about her blog Forever and Everly is that May literally has such an amazing blogging voice & personality which shines through in every blog post and makes each one so fun to read.

Most engaged in the community

I am trying my best not to nominate people twice but I felt like this award had to go to Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books because she’s so active in the community. Every blog post you visit it’s 99% likely that Marie would have commented on it. She’s just so supportive and engaging which is so lovely to see!

Best social media influencer

Alexandra @ Twirling Pages is so incredible at managing so many social media accounts!! Her blog, Twitter, YouTube & Instagram always have such quality content (which is generally very aesthetic too) – I honestly don’t know how she manages to balance it all!!

Best at promoting diverse reads

Shealea @ Shut Up, Shealea does so much for promoting and recommending amazing diverse books which is so so important!! Just one example of the ways in which she helps amplify diverse books is through the Year of the Asian Reading Challenge which Shealea is co-hosting.

Best new book blogger

For this award I want to nominate Maha @ Sunshine n’ Books. She started her blog in June of 2019 (so super new) and is quickly becoming one of my faves! Her blog aesthetic is so so pretty & I love her blogging voice – her discussions (like her most recent post) are also really well-written.

Best small book blogger (under 1000)

Taasia @ Librae Paints Pages definitely deserves more followers/recognition!! I absolutely love her blog & always genuinely enjoy her content. I particularly love her wrap-ups which are always my fave to read!

Best overall book blogger

This was such a hard decision to make because there are so many blogs that I love but for me, my nomination for this award is to Olivia @ Purely Olivia . Olivia has such amazing lists, discussion posts, tags, and also always has great book recommendations! Her blog aesthetic is so so pretty & she has the nicest personality which always shines out in her blogging voice which I love!

And there are my nominations! I hope you enjoyed this post & maybe found some new faves?!

In the meantime,

Who are some of your favourite bloggers? Have you submitted your nominations?
